Glastonbury Festival 2025 – The UK’s biggest music and arts festival has officially come to a close after five incredible days at Worthy Farm, Somerset. Over 200,000 people came together to experience a festival filled with music, emotion, and unforgettable moments.

The festival’s three main nights are headlined by three iconic acts from three different generations: The 1975 rock the Friday night with their signature modern rock, Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts bring deep nostalgia on Saturday night, while Olivia Rodrigo closes the festival with a performance full of feminism and explosive emotion. Additionally, the “legend” Rod Stewart will perform on the Sunday afternoon slot, exciting tens of thousands of spectators.

Notably, Lorde made a surprise appearance, flooding the Woodsies stage to the point of closure. Also notable was the return of Lewis Capaldi, who missed the 2023 show due to health reasons. He made a surprise appearance on the Pyramid stage to complete his unfinished performance and introduce his new song “Survive”.

In addition, Glastonbury 2025 also saw the first appearances of many other talented artists such as Noah Kahan, Alanis Morissette, Gracie Abrams, Busta Rhymes, Lola Young, Brandi Carlile, Myles Smith, En Vogue, Amaarae, Cymande, Shaboozey and Gary Numan, contributing to the diversity and richness of the stage.

 Glastonbury is about more than just music. This year’s festival boldly tackled social issues – from violence, to environmental causes, to political conflict. Areas such as Theatre & Spoken Word and Greenpeace Stage hosted a number of discussions, anti-war art performances and awareness-raising workshops.

As well as being an artistic success, Glastonbury Festival 2025 also generated pre-tax revenues of more than £5.9m, almost double last year’s figure. Notably, more than £5.2m was donated to charities including Oxfam, Greenpeace, and War Child.
